A small but charming exhibition with reproductions of paintings. There is a multilingual video film about Monet's time in Zaandam. The building can also be seen in a painting by Monet, along with other views of the city. The entrance is not easy to find. The staff were friendly and competent during our stay. Definitely worth a visit.

Monet's Atelier was the highlight of my trip to Zaandam! I have recommended it to all my Dutch friends, and have already planned a return visit to take my artist friend (he will LOVE it!). The owner is the best part of the museum. You can feel her passion for Monet and Zaandam alike. She explained everything so clearly and made me feel like I was visiting a friend's house and not a museum. I learned SO much! Fascinating! The museum is really well organized, the map with the view points of where Monet painted each piece is brilliant! The video is so informative! I can not say enough great things about this tiny museum! 10/10! A great recommendation to anyone going to Zaandam!

Mooie plek, goede informatie van bevlogen en deskundige gidsen, hele mooie schilderijen en boeken over Monet en een leuk klein boekje te koop over Monet in Zaandam.

Very interesting story with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. No originals as explained on the website but worth visiting for the story behind the paintings.
